Fan Fest viewing

The official FIFA Fan Fest is situated at St Georges Park cricket ground. The main feature is the 45 square meter big screen (the biggest screen of all the FIFA Fan Fests in the country) that shows all the matches live. In between the matches there are entertainment on stage as well as other activities going on around the Fan Fest.
.
Ed's note: My friend Rochelle who lives in Vancouver, Canada, has reminded me that the last time this particular screen was used was at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver earlier in the year.

  1. The screen was actually last used here in Vancouver during the Winter Olympics ... it's a nice link to have with all my PE friends :)

  2. Where is the beer. Only the brave would have ventured out today to watch the big screen - maybe some old brown sherry would have been the cure to the winter chill.

I suppose the fan parks will become more popular as the tournament progresses with the bigger named teams advancing.

Thanks for saving me an early trip to the fan fest.

  5. Wow - that's impressive - looks like a great way to spend an afternoon. So proud of the efficient, organised, FUN tournament we are hosting - have heard only good things.
