Face paint or war paint

With the England vs Slovenia game in Port Elizabeth last week I noticed that there were quite a few people on the beachfront offering face painting services to fans. Specially the English fans were queuing up to get the England flag either painted on their cheeks or have their whole face coloured in. I imagine that this kind of face painting would be termed war paint.

  1. At least they can wash their war paint off.

Some of us still have the remains of a soccer ball haircut .......

We must have just missed each other - I also photographed the same war painters.

  5. The poor lads! The English team's performance wasn't much to write home about. But I'm guessing that just being there experiencing the World Cup will be something to remember.

  6. And I guess there were people selling those horribly annoying plastic horns as well.
